Нарешті узгоджені всі організаційні і фінансові питання з ІКЧФ по проведенню 5-го Кубку Дунаю – меморіалу Павла Дармограя.
ФЗШУ взяла на себе клопіт організації цього престижного європейського командного змагання. Як відомо, ентузіаст і палкий прихильник заочних шахів наш земляк Павло Дармограй (1934-2006) зініціював ці змагання у 1984 році і був організатором першого і другого Дунайського турніру, який спочатку мав назву «Дунай – ріка дружби». Після смерті Павла Дармограя змагання носять його ім’я, як визнання заслуг українця у розвитку заочних шахів у світі. До участі у 5 кубку Дунаю ФЗШУ запросила команди з 18 європейських країн: 9 країн, територією яких протікає Дунай, 8 країн, які відносяться до басейну Дунаю та Францію, де народився Павло Дармограй 1 жовтня 1934 року.
Змагання викликали велику зацікавленість, бо вже на другий день після направлення запрошень дали згоду грати Німеччина, Швейцарія, Франція, Італія і Хорватія.
Україна буде представлена двома командами у складі яких 12 шахістів захищатимуть спортивну честь країни і зможуть підвищити свою кваліфікацію, бо на всіх шести дошках плануються кваліфікаційні нормативи починаючи з ІМ.
На найближчому засіданні виконкому ФЗШУ будуть затверджені капітани обох команд, які будуть підбирати склад гравців.
Змагання стартують 15 квітня 2016 року. 
Tournament Announcement 5th Danube Cup – Invitational Team Tournament
(organized by the Correspondence Chess Federation of Ukraine (played in memory of Paul Darmogray)
Correspondence Chess Federation of Ukraine has the honour to host the 5th edition of the Danube Cup – Paul Darmogray Memorial.
Initially, this tournament was intended for the countries where the river Danube flows through or where it creates state frontiers, namely:
Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine. We would like to extend this invitation to
the countries that share the Danube River Basin, including those that are not the members of the ICCF (invited Federations will nominate
their teams). In addition, the invitation is extended to France as the birthplace of Paul Darmogray.
Therefore, the CC Federation of Ukraine has the pleasure to invite the following countries to take part in this tournament: Germany,
Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, France, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Slovenia,
Switzerland, Italy, Poland, the Republic of Macedonia, and Albania.
Tournament Details
1. The tournament will be played with 13–17 teams, depending on the number of entries. Ukraine as the organizer of the 5th edition
keeps the right to nominate two teams.
2. No start fee is collected for this tournament.
3. There will be 6 (six) players in each team. Each team must have a Team Captain. A maximum of 3 (three) players may be replaced
during the tournament. Only one replacement is allowed on each board.
4. The tournament will be played on the ICCF webserver. Every team player will play 12 to 16 games in total, one game against every
opponent on the same board.
5. Team entries should be send via the National Federation, exclusively by e-mail and not later than 20.03.2016 to the TO: Galytskyi

6. All entries should include the following details:
– board order,
– names, ICCF codes, current Elo ratings and e-mail addresses of the team players,
– name and e-mail address of the Team Captain.
7. For title norm purposes, rating numbers will be taken from the ICCF Rating List as of 01.04.2016 and/or from the current FIDE Rating
List. FIDE ratings will be treated as unfixed for title norm purposes. Other players will be allocated a special tournament rating of 2200.
8. Target categories:
– Board 1: cat. 9 – Elo 2451+
– Board 2: cat. 8 – Elo 2426+
– Board 3: cat. 7 – Elo 2401+
– Board 4: cat. 6 – Elo 2376+
– Board 5: cat. 5 – Elo 2351+
– Board 6: cat. 4 – Elo 2326+
A non-fulfilment of the above Elo limits will not disqualify the team from the tournament; however, we ask national federations to keep
to them whenever possible.
9. The tournament will be governed by paragraph 9 of the valid ICCF Tournament Rules. For this tournament, the ICCF Playing Rules for
team tournaments played on ICCF webserver will apply.
10. The tournament will start on 15.04.2016.
